Herts Urgent Care (HUC) asked me to produce a film highlighting life behind-the-scenes of its main emergency call centre in Peterborough. With the aim of encouraging more people to work at the service, the film offers a valuable glimpse into the variety of roles on offer to help those in need of medical assistance.
Filmed over two days in May, the film explores what happens when someone experiencing a medical issue dials 111 and how the service then determines the urgency of their need for treatment and the nature of treatment required.
The communications team helped organise the shoot and rounded up those who featured in the video… and took some great candid behind-the-scenes photos!
All those who featured – as well as the various stakeholders involved – were delighted with the video, which took two days to film and just over a week to finish editing with three revisions to implement feedback.
It was a joy to be involved with this project, which I hope will help deliver the aim of encouraging more job applicants.
