If there’s one thing COVID-19 has taught us – it’s to never take our parks and open green spaces for granted, which is why I was only too delighted to film this video about the brand new activity park in Oxhey.
The development is on track to be completed in September 2020, which includes improved walking and cycling routes through the park – and facilities for skateboarding, scooters, mountain bikes & BMX users. The development also provides a café with a riverside terrace and multiple play areas.
Construction work on Oxhey Activity Park was temporarily halted on 3 April, due to coronavirus causing a shortage of materials necessary to continue the work and the availability of workers. But it’s now full steam ahead – and Watford Borough Council commissioned me to produce the video as a ‘sneak peek’ – along with a series of photographs to decorate the website and social media posts.
